Pieter Ediers

Before joining Smartfin, Pieter was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where he worked primarily within the Private Equity and Principal Investments practice on buy- and sell-side engagements. He supported major Private Equity firms across software, (deep)tech and energy deals. He also worked in BCG’s Energy Practice, advising network operators, oil & gas majors, offshore wind developers, etc. and co-authored three BCG publications on power markets and the energy transition.

Pieter subsequently co-founded Rouby, a B2B SaaS company applying AI to enterprise procurement, where he focused on product development and commercial strategy, winning several large enterprise customers in the energy, retail and manufacturing sectors.

Pieter holds a Master of Engineering in Energy from KU Leuven, studied abroad at EPFL in Lausanne and obtained a Master in General Management from Vlerick Business School.
