Tallat Mahmood

Prior to joining Smartfin, Tallat held the position of Managing Director at Silverpeak, a boutique technology investment bank in London. During his tenure, he specialised in advising fast-growing European technology companies on M&A and fundraisings, with global counterparts.

Tallat has extensive experience in technology M&A, having worked on deals across Europe at prominent firms like Canaccord Genuity and EY. Additionally, he worked at LDC, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, and the most active UK buyout fund, where he focused on investing in energy technology companies.

Tallat holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University, and a Master’s degree in Management from Durham University.
